INOVATIONS IN FOOD SYSTEMS

At the Institute of Integrative Food Systems (IIFS) we know thinking creatively to solve problems is both a gift and a learned skill, because these are the building block for a resilient sustainable global food system during a pandemic. IIFS’s academic philosophy help integrate innovations into food systems by encouraging students to shape their own experience, to think way outside the box, to practice what they’re learning outside the classroom, all over the world.

AN EDUCATION DESIGNED FOR FOOD SYSTEMS EXPLORATION

Every IIFS undergraduate student takes classes that focus students on food exploration. Serving as IIFS research core that combines the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences to motivate students to think deeply within disciplines and broadly across them, with a healthy balance of tradition and innovation.
